About the Role

The Senior Product Manager, Mobile App is responsible for the execution of the JA Anywhere strategy in the JustAnswer mobile app. In this role you will work with the initiative leader to define the initiative strategy, you will own the roadmap for the mobile app and are responsible for the execution of the mobile app strategy. The Senior Product Manager will build features and tests using the lean methodology, A/B testing, agile product deployment and work with engineering to ensure the success of those tests. You will use your previous experience building and scaling a product from the ground up to lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of new tests, interfaces, and features for the JustAnswer mobile app. 

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with customer research, analytics, and UX teams to identify the biggest areas of opportunity. 
• Work with the User Research team to understand customer needs and how the JA mobile app should improve in the future. 
• Use usability studies, data analysis and other primary and secondary research to produce product requirements to improve productivity and product satisfaction. 
• Define product requirements for minimal viable products (MVPs) and new features/enhancements. 
• Define and analyze product metrics to inform decision-making and measure success.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts to define the correct metrics to measure and understand the performance of the mobile app.
• Use effective communication to influence and support your ideas, confidently debating and defending your decisions and approach.
• Leverage your growing knowledge of the business to formulate strategy when given a vague problem statement to drive impact. 

What We’re Looking For

• 4 years of experience as a product manager on software products 
• Previous experience working on/launching apps in the app store, which are currently published 
• Previous experience working with platform products that build core user experiences. 
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college 
• Know how to delight customers and how to use data to know if you did 
• Experience building and scaling a product from the ground up 
• Ability to think strategically, prioritize ruthlessly and execute methodically 
• Understanding of key technologies and ability to converse at a technical level 
• Lean methodology
• Agile product development
• Knowledge of scrum product development
• Experience running A/B tests with automated testing frameworks
• Knowledge of product metrics - can work with a data analyst to define and set required metrics.
• Knowledge of app store deployment process
• Knowledge of app development process
• Knowledge of how to build a roadmap
• Self-starter who is action-oriented and leads by example
• High-level of accountability and acts an owner, develops effective short and long-term plans and goals

Work Environment

JustAnswer US has adopted a remote-first/full-remote work environment from most US-based locations. Some teams do occasionally have the option to meet in-person for teaming, collaboration, or social events.
