The Opportunity:

We're seeking a Senior Product manager with a passion for managing and enhancing critical location and entity data that supports all of Flexport from booking, planning and execution. This team builds internal representations of companies, locations, and addresses as well as workflows to create, manage, and maintain the data that thousands of shipments a week depend on to get delivered to the right client and right location. This role is perfect for someone passionate about building tools for enterprise workflows and understanding global logistics. The successful candidate will be comfortable aligning with engineering, business, and product stakeholders to prioritize the overall product vision for how customers interact with their shipment and order data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with internal stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their data needs and how Flexport can best address those needs
• Make data driven decisions and implement metrics to manage your team’s progress and impact
• Work closely with our business, operations, and technology teams to develop a roadmap to address the needs of our users
• Lead and inspire a cross-functional team of designers, engineers, data scientists, and operations specialists to implement your product vision
• Become a domain expert: Understand the market, competitive landscape, and how Flexport fits into it all
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define product requirements and translate them into effective design solutions for new products focused on order management and booking management tools. 

Job Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager, experience with enterprise software and/or supply chain a plus.
• A track record of creating scalable, closed-loop workflows in complex, multi-input environments
• Technical competence; might not be an expert, but can talk shop with the best of them
• Experience collaborating with and inspiring engineering teams with a focus on accelerating development velocity
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate prioritization decisions clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
