Senior Product Manager, Payer Programs

Alma is seeking a mission-centric Senior Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and supporting the product roadmap for our behavioral health products that integrate with and are developed in partnership with leading health insurance companies to expand access to high-quality, affordable care.

The ideal candidate for this role is collaborative and enjoys working with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and build scalable solutions that result in trusted and streamlined user experiences.

What you’ll do:

• Develop a broad comprehension of behavioral health market trends, industry challenges, key stakeholders, relevant products, and technologies.
• Build products that enable the cross-functional management and organization of covered programs, and payer integrations that streamline client access to mental healthcare through Alma 
• Drive execution of the product roadmap and set feature priorities through data-driven and customer-centric considerations that support our strategic payer goals.
• Partner with external stakeholders to define business requirements, align projects plans and keep initiatives on-track. 
• Manage complex projects, spanning many functional teams and cross-functional initiatives; identify and communicate cross-functional impact of decisions within functional teams.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and data analysts.
• Define, track, and analyze overall performance and financial, customer, and operational metrics.

Who you are:

• You have 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager with a strong desire to own a product strategy and roadmap.
• You are able to work cross-functionally while listening first to build consensus with internal and external stakeholders to implement solutions, resolve problems, and measure success, and  have a track record of building positive relationships across a broad, diverse organization.
• You have strong project management skills and excellent presentation and communication skills.
• You have a strong grasp of highly technical concepts. You can describe highly technical products to a non-technical audience.
• You are adept at agile methodologies and taking an iterative approach to product lifecycle management.
• You have a history of balancing quantitative data against intuition in product decision-making and successes.

Salary Band: $145,000 - $175,000
