Senior Product Manager, Platform

In particular, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager who will strengthen our platform first strategy to allow Total Expert to be the hub of the customer experience ecosystem for banks, credit unions, mortgage lenders, and other financial institutions.

Total Expert’s unique software incorporates traditional CRM and Marketing tools into a single Customer Experience platform, purpose-built for financial services. Our platform capabilities are an essential aspect of the growth of our customers and our business. Leading within platform product management requires coordinating product activities from vision to implementation, including engaging large enterprise customers to understand their needs, developing long-term product strategy, defining product roadmaps, working with engineering to build those products, and coordinating with various internal stakeholders (both pre-and post-launch) to ensure product success. The work you do will empower tens of thousands of financial services leaders to help their customers make critical financial decisions that shape their lives.

Exciting Work You'll Do:

• Define and drive Total Expert’s platform strategy and roadmap. Partner with other platform product managers and our engineering organization to develop a vision, strategy, and prioritized feature backlog for shared services and platform capabilities.
• Scope of ownership will include authorization, authentication, administration, permissions, licensing, provisioning, tier 1 entities (core data model)
• Own execution of the Platform roadmap and collaborate with a cross-functional team of product managers, software engineers, and business operations to ensure we deliver on the business’ goals.
• Establish go-to-market strategies to support our platform offerings, executed in anticipation of the roadmap.
• Provide project management guidance to navigate complex dependencies and diverse stakeholders to deliver projects on time and on strategy.
• Focus on scalability, stability, performance, and security.
• Meticulous, highly developed organizational skills, collaborative, strong communication skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Draft initiative charters, OKRs, epics, and stories, with prioritized features and specifications, while incorporating inputs from all stakeholders. Ensure release goals and commitments are understood by all affected teams.

Requirements

• Educational background in computer science, statistics, or related practice.
• 5+ years of Product Management and/or software Product Ownership experience. 2+ years of experience specifically in a technical platform role.
• Strong track record of delivering products with cross-functional teams common to the enterprise software industry (engineering, sales, marketing, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills to educate stakeholders on complex topics
• Experience working closely with customers in the enterprise software industry.
• Entrepreneurial sense of ownership of the success of the product, with full ownership and accountability of outcomes.
• Passionate about building great products, innovation, and solving complex customer problems.
• Solid track record of building relationships and collaborating at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently paired with a desire to learn and grow.
