Senior Product Manager, Platform

Role.  An overview of the opportunity:

Skupos is looking for an experienced Sr. Product Manager to join our growing Product & Engineering team. This person will oversee a toolset that is foundational to our network, specifically our SkuOps and Skupos Sync products. These products are leveraged by our customer experience and sales teams to connect to and support over 15,000 retailers in our network and are critical to the future success of Skupos.

The Sr. Product Manager will work with a team of designers and engineers to define the product vision, develop product requirements, and work cross-functionally to drive alignment. You will be asked to deliver a high-quality retailer and internal product that will fuel the next generation of growth for the Skupos data business

As Sr. Product Manager, you’ll have a solid grasp of market and user data, the user experience, relevant technologies and tools, data pipelines, analytics, product strategy, requirements documentation, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. You and your team will create and maintain a product roadmap and ensure that work items are prioritized for the agile team based on user needs and business value.

Responsibilities.  Your responsibilities will include:

• Be responsible for driving the vision, roadmap, and execution of these products
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of their problems and requirements
• Interface with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, sales, services, and customer success to prioritize features and functionality
• Manage complex product and technical decisions and work with engineering to drive development through the agile methodology
• Work with data science and data engineering teams in a fast-paced, agile development process
• Lead, drive consensus, and deliver in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders
• Prioritize competing initiatives and communicate with precision
• Drive strategy and vision for a wide array of next-generation opportunities

Skills.  We are looking for:

• Experience managing B2B SaaS or consumer applications at scale
• Proven track record of setting the product vision, translating vision into a product roadmap, and end-to-end execution of shipping products
• Ability to drive teams toward a shared vision with velocity, and possess an indomitable bias toward action in the face of ambiguity
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to cater messages to an audience at all levels of the organization (from executives to software engineers at the implementation level)
• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
• Excellent ability to empathize and communicate with people with different points of view
• An analytical mindset that makes data-driven decisions and can easily calculate ROI
• Minimum peripheral understanding of payments, point of sale, consumer data, or other commerce-oriented functionality

Experience.  Candidates should have:

• Background with 5+ years in Product Management
• Bachelor or Masters in Business, Data Analytics, or Information Systems
• Hands-on experience with consumer purchase data, preferably in retail and/or CPG
• Extreme ownership of your projects
• Experience driving large cross-organizational projects with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Understanding of and experience with high throughput data pipelines and data engineering efforts
• Proven track record of pushing complex, revenue-impacting features and products to closure in a web/mobile environment
• Proven experience with enterprise SaaS

Salary is based on location and experience.

Salary range in Denver, CO: $130,000 - $155,000
