Senior Product Manager - Remote

Summary:

The Sr. Product Manager is responsible for solving organizational information problems by discussing and analyzing requirements with stakeholders; designing data workflow programs; recommending system controls and protocols; conceptualizing, designing, and producing compelling visualizations to communicate insights across Precision Medicine Group. Under the guidance and direction of PRISM Leadership, the Senior Product Manager will support the development of reports and data-driven insights that lead to improvement in operational, commercial and enterprise performance to drive the realization of strategic goals across the entire organization.

Reporting to the PRISM Program Management Lead, the Sr. Product Manager will work in close partnership with business leadership, finance, and information technology teams to drive increased strategic and operational efficiencies across the organization. This role requires excellent technical skills in order to lead the development of scalable analytics, excellent written/verbal communication skills to interact effectively with business leadership, as well as, but not limited to, the ability to understand business context at its depth and translating it into analytical delivery specs
 
Essential duties include but are not limited to:

• Build and groom professional relationships with business stakeholders to understand their information-based needs and priorities
• Develop a pipeline of roadmap and innovation items and prioritize the opportunities to drive business value recognizing short- and long-term goals
• Continuously monitor PRISM’s products/service offering as well as the product ecosystem to understand the current usage and opportunities to satisfy future business needs
• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
• Design applications and programs by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
• Improve systems by studying current practices, designing modifications.
• Recommend controls by identifying problems, writing improved procedures.
• Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget.
• Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
• Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
• Engages business stakeholders for user acceptance testing, product demonstrations, and go-to-market activities (i.e., product training, etc.)
• Partner closely with the middle-tier Platform team, Engineering Architects, vertical Application teams and design teams to evolve our front-end platform, core platform features, and reusable components.
• Collaborate with feature and component teams during both design and development phases to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Drive participation in and influence of key standards bodies related to platform development in line with platform leadership

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years’ experience within business intelligence or data analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or other technical field
• Demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following methods - data analysis/visualization, financial modeling, statistical modeling
• Experience with Python scripting (Pandas, Numpy, Boto3) or other programming languages and data visualization tools such as Infor Birst, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Cognos
• Experience with relational database concepts and writing SQL queries
• Experience of working with data warehouses
• Experience with statistical analysis, regression modeling and forecasting, time series analysis, data mining, financial analysis, and demand modeling

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Analytics / Mathematics / Science / Engineering.
