We're looking to add a dynamic Senior Product Manager to our PayNearMe team, reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management. Help us reimagine payments!

Role Overview:

The Senior Product Manager - Payment Solutions will play a pivotal role in defining and executing our product strategy for existing funding types, as well as integrating and leading the strategy for adding new funding types. This role requires a deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, with a focus on bill payment processes and technologies. The ideal candidate will be the subject matter expert (SME) in our payment solutions, driving innovation and ensuring our products meet the highest standards of reliability, security, and user experience.

Job Description

  • Lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of our payment solutions, including managing existing funding types (Alternative Payment Methods, ACH, Cash, Card processing) and lead the integration of adding new funding types
  • Be the subject matter expert for all aspects of PayNearMe's integrated payment channels and own the roadmap for new features and functionality, providing guidance and leadership across teams for the integration and optimization of payment methods
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to develop and implement product enhancements that align with business goals and customer needs
  • Delivering detailed product requirements to the engineering teams and working alongside engineering and ensuring timely delivery of feature releases
  • Partnering with product design leaders to define new platform experiences that are better and easier to use for our customers
  • Define and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance and inform strategic decision
  • Engage with customers, partners, and external stakeholders to gather insights, feedback, and requirements that shape product development and innovation
  • Collaborate with senior product leadership and other product team members to align roadmaps and deliver projects that support product iterations
  • Be the product champion and identify key product and customer needs

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of product management experience in the payments or bill pay industry, with a proven track record of launching and managing successful products
  • Deep understanding of payment processing, including funding types such as PayPal/Venmo, ACH, Cash/Retailers network and card processing
  • Experience in integrating new payment methods and technologies into existing platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform product decisions
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership
  • Must be detailed oriented, comfortable and willing to add value and contribute to product documentation
  • Experience working with a team in an agile and fast paced environment
  • Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence

Salary Range: $170,000-190,000
