Senior Product Manager, Robotics

About The Role

Our product team is growing rapidly and we are looking for a talented product manager to join our agile, world-class team. Agility Robotics is looking for a product manager to lead the product development of a multipurpose bipedal mobile manipulator robot. Key projects include defining the scope and requirements for the robot, particularly feature definition and product backlog refinement for on-robot software: navigation, manipulation, perception, controls, and other applications used as part of the Agility stack.  

About The Work

• Manage the end to end product lifecycle of a robotics product
• Collaborate with principal engineers and managers on defining and managing a product roadmap
• Define and prioritize new features and products
• Work with a remote team and department

You do have

• 6+ years as a Product Manager of products that combine hardware and software
• Been a part of the full product lifecycle of multiple products from ideation to implementation to post launch adoption
• A strong customer focus for understanding customer needs and translating them into clear, concise, and actionable product requirements
• Experience building product roadmaps and breaking them down into features
• Experience writing Product Requirement Documents (PRD)
• Experience managing and prioritizing a product backlog
• Analytical skills to quantify impact of features and utilize data for prioritization
• Collaboration across a variety of stakeholders including engineering, design, marketing, operations sales, legal, and others
• Experience in both traditional waterfall (HW) and Agile development (SW)
• Go to Market experience taking a product through launch strategy, defining the value proposition, pricing, and promotion
• Experience defining beta plans and POC engagements
• Capable of delivering content to support product launches and tools for sales
• Experience developing financial models (ROI, TCO, pricing, budgets, forecasts)
• Great communicator and presenter, capable of presenting to executive stakeholders and customers
• Developed and managed multi year product roadmaps
• Experience with Robotics or complex software + hardware products
