Description

The Senior Product Manager will support InVue's mission to increase the profitability of retailers across the globe. The Secure Display category includes InVue's core product platforms and provides open, secure merchandising solutions for retailers to show case products on retail display. These solutions create opportunities for retailers to grow sales by creating an optimal merchandising platform that encourages consumer interaction, provides a great experience for the customers all while decreasing theft.

Reporting to the Vice President of Product, the Sr. Product Manager will collaborate with lead customers and InVue's sales team, regional product managers and innovation teams to create and manage product roadmaps, develop, and gain approval for new product requirements and business plans, and lead the organization in the commercialization of these products. In addition, the product manager will support the continued platform success of existing portfolio products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary responsibility for managing portfolio of solutions for consumer wearable technology, cameras solutions, electronic accessories and high security solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a multiyear development roadmap for assigned product segments.
  • Understand market dynamics, voice of customer, competitive product offerings, and bring product improvement and new product recommendations into discussion.
  • Develop new product development proposals that leverage detailed analysis of markets, voice of customer and competitive product analysis and outline core product requirements, go to market plans and a financial business case for best-in-class solutions.
  • Manage the development cycle to ensure new product development projects achieve quality, time, cost, and sales targets.
  • Manage product samples which support customer meetings.
  • Direct internal activities to maintain and reduce product cost to maintain and improve gross margin vs assigned objectives.
  • Monitor product inventory to optimize revenue opportunities and seek opportunities to identify procurement cost savings.
  • Improve response time to global customers in regard to existing product requests, questions, and issues.
  • Energize and educate retailers, sales partners, and direct sales team as to the benefits of Display Merchandise product portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of experience in a product marketing or product management role.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience and success in managing product definitions, product lifecycle, pricing strategy, and marketing collateral that have led to secular growth for managed product category.
  • B2B and international product marketing experience preferred.
  • Product management experience with technical and/or premium products preferred.
  • Ability to travel upward of 30%, including global travel.
