Department Overview

The Secure Products Group puts some of Motorola Solutions' brightest minds on unique, highly challenging projects. Based on decades of experience with our customers, we apply leading-edge technologies to support security and safety throughout the world. The combination of broadband data and mission critical operations is changing the way public safety agencies operate. Job Description

• The candidate should have 5 years of product management experience, ideally in a technology environment that contains both software and hardware components.

• Additional preferable skills and/or experience include product management in the federal space along with an understanding of federal requirements for development of business opportunities, procurement and RFI, RFQ and RFP creation.

• An understanding of all the product management facets is required from voice-of-customer collection through product conception to implementation, shipping and lifecycle management.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills required along with a growth mindset to develop the necessary skills to succeed in the role.

• The role will also incorporate some business development activities that include some travel to customer sites and/or trade shows to present on solutions from MSI.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelors Degree

• 5+ years experience in product management.

• Must be a US Citizen with the willingness to obtain a US SECRET clearance.
