Reprocessing involves the collection, cleaning, functionality testing, and high-level disinfection of used devices for resale into hospitals. Hospitals depend on Cardinal Health to provide quality reprocessed devices, environmental sustainability, and financial value. Responsibilities
- Develop specific commercial objectives, strategies, and tactics and build and execute the product marketing plans to grow the Sustainable Technologies business, including, but not limited to, sales enablement tactics, collateral development, demand generation activities, digital and thought leadership campaigns, and tradeshow planning.
- Manage the P&L for Cardinal Health's Sustainable Technologies business and demonstrate strong financial acumen through annual financial budgeting, quarterly financial forecasting and monthly interpretation and presentation of financial results.
- Serve as the portfolio expert, supporting our Sustainable Technology Consultants (STCs) and working with them to manage the sales pipeline and customer experience on a regular basis. The STCs are responsible for selling the portfolio, servicing our customers and collaborating with our external partners.
- Work with Enterprise Contracting and Sales to develop strategies and tactics to pursue, negotiate and capture contracts with national/regional purchasing organizations and health systems and to maximize the realized benefit from existing contracts.
- Develop the launch, marketing, and promotions strategy for new product launches and drive growth initiatives for products post-launch.
- Create product related sales tools and train the field sales force to empower the STCs to effectively sell the product portfolio.
- Remain current on sustainability and reprocessing trends in the market, including hospital and end user standard practice.
- Work with the sales team and customers directly through quarterly field rides, voice of customer research, advisory council events, and trade shows.
- Develop stakeholder analysis, competitive analysis, positioning/value proposition, message platform for products in the channel.
- Proactively gain insights into competitors, their products, pricing, unmet customer needs, and changing clinical practices through market research and interactions with clinical staff during sales support, product implementations, and conversion activities.
- Manage product forecast in partnership with demand planning and global portfolio teams to inform manufacturing and deliver on anticipated customer needs.
- Provide insights to our adjacent marketers in Global Portfolio management on the state of US market including trends, market share, VOC, and competitive activity while collaborating with them on strategic initiatives, including new product opportunities through the product lifecycle management process.
- Influence and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Global Product Management, Sales, Commercial Operations, Customer Service, Strategic Pricing, Digital Marketing, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Supply Chain & Operations, Manufacturing, Research & Development and Demand Planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, MBA preferred but not required
- 4+ years' experience in Marketing or related field preferred

- Demonstrates basic knowledge of marketing disciplines and concepts necessary for building a business & marketing plan, this includes identifying the appropriate channels to market
- Exhibits an ability to translate market and customer needs into clearly defined goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics to drive sales & profitability for the business.
- Proficient in mining data and interpreting findings to solve problems and tell a story
- Microsoft Office experience with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
- Maintains a positive attitude with a focus on creative solutions and strong internal and external partnerships
- Ability to travel up to 20% domestically
