Senior Product Manager (US)

Position Summary...
What you'll do...
You will be a rockstar Product Manager transforming Transportation Management across the Walmart enterprise in US and International markets - one of the world's largest supply chain. This role develops and champions a product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a Walmart's Transportation, in support of corporate goals and objectives by using customer and market research, user feedback, customer usage patterns, and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities and enhancements; and working with multiple functions to build and evaluate business cases to support product investment decisions. It touches upon billions of dollars in annual spend across the enterprise. Key responsibilities include -

• 30% Will be the subject matter expert in Transportation Management Systems and will influence global business operations with innovative thinking. You are self-initiated and will partner cross-functionally to solve some of the hardest problems in the last mile delivery space for retail eCommerce

• 30% Owns the product roadmap and influence stakeholders while driving the product discovery process by collaborating with the Business, Carriers, Vendors, User Experience, Engineering and other cross-functional partners during discovery to assess value, usability and feasibility of product features; specifying, prioritizing, and communicating high level and detailed product specifications; and using written specifications, business rules, and flows.

• 30% Supports product implementation and deployment by engaging with UX designers, Engineering and Project Management during implementation to answer questions and make scope trade off decisions; working closely with business to launch products and ensure their adoption; coordinating post-launch activities to validate that the product works as designed and that acceptance testing was successful; managing the development of training materials; training and supporting users on new product features; managing close-loop feedback cycles to encompass customer and user comments and needs; and defining, tracking and improving key product metrics.
• 10% Manage relationships with internal and external partners. Be a product evangelist and identify opportunities to improve Walmart operations.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in supply chain operations across one or more systems including transportation, warehouse management, scheduling, route optimizations, brokerage marketplace, mobile trucking technologies
• High attention to detail, and ruthless focus on product quality
• Demonstrated bias for action, and ability to communicate clearly and compellingly
• Experience in building and scaling products. Understands platform mindset
• MBA or Master's degree in Management or Technology

Nice to haves

• Experience working with International partners, across multiple time zones
• Running A/B tests and hypothesis testing
