What You'll Do

• Stakeholder Management:
• Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and the IT organization, ensuring their needs and requirements are effectively communicated and addressed throughout the product lifecycle.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, business associates, and consumers to gather feedback, prioritize requirements, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Strong Product Management Skills:

• Develop and implement comprehensive product strategies, encompassing market analysis, product positioning, and feature prioritization, to drive the successful development and delivery of IT products.
• Define clear product requirements, specifications, and roadmaps, leveraging a deep understanding of product management best practices and methodologies.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to translate business needs into actionable product plans and ensure successful product launches.
• Provide leadership and guidance to interdisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment focused on delivering high-quality IT product solutions.

Stores S/W and H/W Experience:

• Apply expertise in software and hardware technologies commonly used in retail environments to assess, integrate, and optimize IT solutions for retail-specific applications, ensuring seamless operation and enhanced user experiences.

Supply Chain Experience:

• Utilize supply chain knowledge and experience to optimize procurement, distribution, and inventory management processes, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of IT products to meet market demands.

Retail Background:

• Leverage a background in retail to understand market trends, consumer behavior, and industry dynamics, informing the development of IT product solutions tailored to meet the unique needs and challenges of the retail sector.

• Experience working on projects of diverse scope and complexity, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization, facilitating the delivery of product and user experience solutions to meet business needs.
• Proficiency in developing high-level business requirements and translating them into functional specifications for IT teams, with experience managing changes to specifications.
• Capable of preparing requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations based on a thorough understanding of industry practices, company policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve a wide range of issues in innovative and practical ways, leveraging strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Strong knowledge of product management best practices, functional design, and application delivery methodologies.
• Understanding of basic project management methodology, with the ability to apply it effectively in project execution.
• Commitment to delivering customer-focused solutions with high-quality standards.
• Excellent interpersonal, business communication, and writing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

• Ability to work independently with some instruction on day-to-day work, while receiving general instructions on new assignments and areas of higher complexity.

Education

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Business, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.

Compensation Band

• $140- 145k per year
