Job Overview
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the strategy and success of go-to-market plans for segments that support our overall growth objectives. In this role you will perform research to define market problems, evaluate new opportunities for the product roadmap and develop differentiated solution positioning to drive commercial success. You will be a valuable market expert that partners closely with product management and collaborates across teams within our growth organization.

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the strategy and success of go-to-market plans for segments that support our overall growth objectives. You will be a valuable market expert that partners closely with product management and collaborates across teams within our growth organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development and design of integrated go-to-market plans that consider market segmentation, buyer personas, product offerings, and competitive market influences.
- Define market problems to solve based on thorough research of user needs that will support the commercial success of products in identified market segments.
- Assess new opportunities by evaluating strategic alignment, segmentation, competitive influences and customer impact to identify the best market problems to solve.
- Develop in depth business cases for new product investments that solve valuable market problems and advocate with product management to influence the product roadmap.
- Develop compelling solution positioning that aligns with buyer personas and highlights value propositions that are competitively differentiated.
- Plan and drive the launch of new product initiatives to generate awareness, drive adoption and achieve go-to-market success.
- Ensure alignment of go-to-market plans across functional areas including demand generation, sales channels, customer care and marcomm to maximize effectiveness.
- Serve as a market expert by synthesizing industry trends, buyer persona needs, win/loss analysis and competitive influences to provide valuable insights to the business.
- Collaborate with demand generation and marcomm teams to develop positioning and support for programs that drive awareness and demand for our products throughout the sales funnel.
- Develop valuable sales collateral and tools to support our buyer experience and maximize our win rates.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualification
- 7+ years of experience in product marketing and/or product management
- Excellent communicator and storyteller that can explain complex concepts concisely and articulate points of view persuasively.
- Analytical thinker that backs up points of view with meaningful data, and has a high level of experience and skill with data analysis and tools.
- A self-starter that can analyze, plan, lead, execute and measure complex projects to deliver successful outcomes with minimal guidance.
- A team player with a strong ability and appetite for interacting with external and internal stakeholders and that takes pride in helping others succeed.
Preferred Education, Skills, and Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, finance or a similar degree
- Master's degree in Marketing highly preferred
- Experience working for a software/technology or financial services company serving in markets such as real estate, construction, health, financial services, education, retail, services, franchises, and hospitality
- Master's in Business Administration (MBA) Preferred
- Experience with Pragmatic Marketing or similar frameworks employed by leading product and product marketing teams
- Experience with technology solutions in accounting/ERP systems, B2B payments or in accounts payable/accounts receivable areas
