Swift Navigation is hiring. Let us introduce ourselves. Swift is changing the way we navigate and understand the world. Swift’s precise positioning technology platform improves location accuracy from several meters to a few centimeters and is used by millions of devices across the globe. Swift’s technology is trusted by users across industries, enabling safer driving, greater efficiency for last-mile delivery and commercial transport operations, higher location accuracy for mobile devices, and new possibilities for rail, robotics, and other connected machines. That’s what we offer our customers and partners, and working together as a team to exceed customer needs and expectations is the best part of our days. We collaborate across the globe to tackle problems, pursue our mission, and have real impact in the world. We are diverse, flexible, and supportive. We know that our team is our most valuable asset, and we offer a host of benefits to ensure that each team member knows it.
Now a little more about the role. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced B2B product marketer to help guide, refine, and scale our sales and marketing efforts. As Sr. Product Marketing Manager, you’ll develop and execute against short- and long-term go-to-market strategies to accelerate revenue growth. Working closely with product, sales and marketing leadership, you’ll guide market segmentation/prioritization and develop compelling messaging, positioning, and sales enablement materials including pitch decks, recorded demos, landing pages, white papers, videos, and product slicks. Working with marketing, you’ll help to shape, evaluate, and optimize marketing campaigns, channels, and conversion funnels. You will also meet and interact with customers and channel partners face-to-face, provide timely buyer insights, and help to strategically inform the product roadmap.
The successful candidate must be a team player with demonstrated experience working cross-functionally to transform market data and technical concepts into go-to-market strategies, programs, and content that drive growth.
Responsibilities
- Customer Research: Develop an encyclopedic knowledge of target customer segments, their industry dynamics, our competitors, and the operational nature of customers' businesses to build a deep, fact-based understanding as to how Swift’s technology uniquely positions our customers for success.
- GTM Strategy Development & Execution: Leverage customer/market knowledge to help define and influence go-to-market strategies that drive revenue growth. This includes strategies to accelerate market adoption in well-established customer/market segments, as well as strategies to enter new markets.
- Competitive Research. Serve as an internal expert the competitive landscape. Leverage that knowledge to inform product positioning and product roadmaps.
- Content Creation: Produce crisp, clear, scalable, and compelling materials for marketing and sales — to support pilots and full funnel marketing and sales activity. These will include buyer personas, customer stories, landing pages, videos, pitch decks, internal training materials, and more. Work with marketing to identify the right channels to reach new prospects and craft messaging to inspire them.
- Channel Strategy Development: Work with marketing leadership and business development teams to identify, develop, and execute channel marketing strategies.
- Presentations: Be a product spokesperson, both internally and externally. Explain Swift’s vision, demo our offerings at events, and showcase the best of Swift to stakeholders, customers, and analysts.
The ideal candidate will be a:
- Experienced B2B product marketer with 3-7 years of directly relevant experience and a strong understanding of enterprise technology sales cycles and software. Experience in the automotive industry and/or with sensors, wireless systems, analytics or big data are a plus.
- Storyteller and presenter with the ability to break complex concepts into compelling messages and materials. Hungry to learn our technology (which consists of both SaaS products and hardware) and able to translate that knowledge into stories that delight internal audiences (product, engineering, sales, and marketing) and inspire external audiences.
- Resourceful, startup-savvy operator who is excited to help shape new products and bring them to market. The successful candidate must know how to start from scratch and iterate continuously in a complex environment without a set playbook. Startup experience is a must.
- Visual thinker with an eye for compelling graphics that accelerate and anchor customer understanding, and generally for world-class visual design.
- Strong cross-functional team player capable of engaging many functions — product, marketing, sales, engineering, customer success, executive leadership — to achieve alignment and drive results. Track record managing complex projects with deep knowledge of operational details, project management process, and a willingness to get hands dirty. Experience working at a global company is a plus.
Bonus points for:
- An MBA
- Graphic design execution chops
