Product Marketing Senior Manager
Location: NOAM (Remote)

Overview:
We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our organization to help execute the company’s marketing initiatives targeting enterprises, SMBs and managed security service providers around the globe. You will be responsible for critical content development associated with building a leading cybersecurity brand for SonicWall, creating strategic marketing plans and initiatives, driving, and executing end-to-end marketing plans, enabling our field and partners, and working alongside field marketing to build programs aligned to our sales goals. Candidates for this role should demonstrate strong leadership skills, creativity, communications skills, the ability to focus on articulating customer solutions vs. product functionalities, and a strong desire to drive market success and increase revenue.

Responsibilities:
· Analyzes and documents our positioning and market differentiations
· Manages the product launch cycle and create collateral to introduce new features and products to the market
· Produces and delivers sales/partner training materials
· Produces product, industry and thought leadership content through blogs, whitepapers, eBooks, videos, web pages and more
· Plans and executes demand generation strategies with our demand gen team
· Delivers external/internal webinars
· Builds relationships with journalists, analysts, tech bloggers, and product community leaders
· Builds strong relationships with internal stakeholders
· Understands the competitive landscape for your products and use it to your advantageously
· Measures what works and what does not and determines a solution to improve it
· Manages people/projects without a direct reporting structure
· Develops product positioning and messaging informed by user/buyer research, market insights, and product understanding
· Builds and maintains personas and ideal customer profiles

Requirements:
· 3-5 years product marketing experience at a computer security firm for either an SMB or enterprise solution
· Strong knowledge of security markets and players. Examples include Firewall, Virtual Firewalls, Container Security, FWaaS, Endpoint, EDR, Email, CASB, VPN, emerging technologies like XDR, Zero Trust and SASE, and related areas
· Depth in information, endpoint and network security are a plus
· Experience developing sell-through programs with service providers and working to drive results in the field
· Strong written and oral communication skills. Documented videos of public speaking a plus
· Ability to translate complex concepts and technologies coming from engineering and product management into business-oriented value propositions
· Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
· Ability to think strategically while working tactically to deliver a steady stream of sales tools and collateral
· Driven, self-motivated, and always looking for ways to improve on our current marketing efforts
· Solid analytical and business skills
· Ability to drive projects through to completion, cooperating and coordinating with many other groups within the company
· Willingness to travel. Visiting customers, prospects, and partners will be an essential part of this role

Education and Experience:
· At least 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 6 years’ experience; or equivalent experience preferred

Preferences:
· Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering area highly desired
· You understand the service provider or managed services market and business model
· You have had professional experience in product management, product marketing, sales engineering, technical marketing, or other related roles
