About the Job:

We are hiring for the position of Senior Product Marketing Manager to own creation and communication of impactful storylines highlighting product and feature advantages relevant to our buying personas. This position will also manage feature/functionality launches and drive development of our buyer/industry specific GTM strategies and messaging. You will build compelling content to drive our marketing programs in partnership with product management, marketing and field-facing functions. You have a flair with words, an eye for transparency, and a strategic and creative mindset. You will build a variety of content to communicate complex ideas/concepts to customers, partners as well as internal stakeholders. You are a storyteller with the ability to craft compelling messaging which resonates with our target audiences.

What you'll be doing:

Product Marketing

  • Define inspiring vision for the usage and benefits of Jirav's product.
  • Elevating the role of product marketing by being collaborative, creating excitement and being the voice of the product while having ownership.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to drive initiatives and new ideas from inception to launch.
  • Drive creation of sales playbook(s) to facilitate internal and external training and understanding of target market, product capabilities and messaging.
  • Be responsible for, and drive, product marketing and sales enablement plans to support revenue goals of acquiring new customers.
  • Partnering to continue to develop the entire sales cycle: sales enablement, selling to customers/partners, holding conversations with both line of business executives and technical decision makers.
  • Experience building and delivering sales tools across the sales cycle, including presentations, webinars, whitepapers, data sheets, and other tools, to enable sales teams to communicate the value of Jirav effectively.
  • Develop a deep understanding for how our Accounting Partner's utilize the Jirav platform to grow their practice and provide more value-added services to their clients.
  • Lead buyer persona and market research activities, using both primary and secondary research to identify market opportunities.
  • Run user research studies to find user experience touch points which help customers and partners get the most out of Jirav.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to craft marketing plans and own product launches.
  • Lead launches by building value messaging in collaboration with product management.
  • Influence development of product demonstrations by working closely with pre-sales.
  • Create a repeatable process to extract product usage data and surface insightful metrics to assist in driving increased user engagement and expansion opportunities.
  • Gain understanding and use of marketing analytics to make better informed decisions.

Content Marketing

  • Manage a variety of buyer personas, address their difficulties, and connect their business goals to product capabilities and messaging.
  • Conceive, research, and write engaging content including (but not limited to): presentations, datasheets, white papers, blogs, infographics, web content, video scripts, and surveys.
  • Develop messaging and positioning by connecting with the latest market and technology trends while keeping in mind key personas and use cases.
  • Portfolio of high-quality work showing a variety of content types, lengths, and tones.
  • Be able to communicate complex information in a way that is clear, persuasive, and useful.
  • Edit and proofread copy from other writers and team members.
  • Familiarity with SEO standard methodologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing with demonstrated success in a B2B SaaS company and/or in in one or more of the following areas: budgeting and planning applications, cloud platform, data processing and management, analytics.
  • Mix of enterprise software, high growth startups and fast paced environments.
  • Experience as a product marketing authority with demonstrable product launch/product line ownership experience.
  • Showcase examples of critical initiatives you have owned and implemented.
  • Outstanding communication skills including writing and content development.
  • Self-starter who proactively identifies challenges/opportunities and works across teams to generate and execute solutions.
  • Be a doer, know how/when to elevate the conversation from features to transformation and define GTM approach for early stage as well as more developed concepts.
  • High energy, creativity and can-do attitude, agility, and bias-for-action.
  • Experience with financial and accounting concepts or systems is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with global, distributed, multi-cultural teams is preferred.
  • A university degree (BS or MS) in Marketing, Accounting/Finance, Business, Economics or other technofunctional field or equivalent experience is preferred.
