Reporting to the head of product marketing, the Senior Product Marketing Manager, Competitive Intelligence will help guide the next phase of product and revenue growth at Workhuman. You will act as the subject matter expert on the competitive landscape of both HR and employee experience technology. As the Workhuman platform grows and evolves, we need a leader in competitive analysis to continuously assess the competitive environment, help define our differentiators, and provide insights and recommendations to our sales, marketing, product and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities• Be the subject matter expert (SME) on the competitive landscape; key competitors' product, pricing, business, sales, market trends and marketing strategies• Own and manage the relationship with our competitive intelligence software vendor and keep the tool updated with competitive messaging for use by go to market teams• Assess the competitive environment to provide insights and recommendations to sales, marketing, product management, and senior leadership• Keep the company updated on competitive insights and analysis of trends, issues, and opportunities• Develop competitive messaging for sales, working closely with Sales Enablement to support and train the sales org through execution• Work alongside sales executives as SME in competitive deals, supporting with talking points, demo scripts, and/presentations• Define and execute competitive win/loss reviews with sales, account teams, prospects and customers to ensure a clear understanding of competitive dynamics• Influence the product roadmap by helping the Product team with competitive insights, including feature by feature comparisons• Measure success by tracking win rates against top competitors
Requirements • 8+ years' experience in competitive analysis and/or product marketing• Expertise and desire to conduct competitive analysis and generate actionable recommendations. Must love research!• Strong writing skills, including experience crafting competitive messaging for sales teams• Strong analytical skills - with the ability to translate "soft results" into hard numbers that can be shared with leadership teams.• Top notch collaborative skills, with the ability to work with many people at once and be open to new ideas, suggestions, and "in it to win it" together mentality.• Excellent verbal/ written communications and presentation skills• Excellent project management skills
