Senior Product Marketing Manager, Content Strategy
Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a driven and experienced Product Marketing Manager focused on Content Strategy. Reporting into the Director, Product Marketing and partnering with key stakeholders in creative/brand, digital experience, corporate comms and go-to-market, you’ll own building our topline market narratives based on our Ideal Customer Profile, used across demand generation campaigns and high impact customer touch points including owned and paid content. You’ll also develop a roadmap for content across the funnel to support partner marketing teams achieve our shared business goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- This pivotal role at Velocity Global requires a blend of creativity, analytical prowess, and a proven track record in developing and executing multichannel, enterprise content strategies that significantly contribute to business growth in terms of leads and revenue, not just engagement
- Supporting the Director of Product Marketing, you'll co-spearhead the messaging direction of our owned content efforts, ensuring they align with our target ICP and personas
- Craft and implement a product marketing content marketing strategy as part of a integrated campaign strategy to directly support enterprise business growth objectives
- In partnership with the digital experience and comms teams, lead the creation, publication, and distribution of engaging, high-quality solution-focused content across our blog, website, and social media platforms, designed to convert readers into leads and customers
- Oversee and own the end-to-end process of creating messaging source documents and frameworks for the product marketing team that are used in content development for all marketing assets, which can include writing and/or editing responsibilities depending on the project
- Partner and collaborate with team members across Marketing and Communications to identify opportunities to scale content across multiple communications channels
- Be an integral part of a cross-functional team that develops and manages a deep editorial calendar of content for various marketing channels and forms, e.g. blogs, articles, emails, social media, newsletters, itineraries, etc.
- Write and edit engaging, high-quality, long and short-form content with the ability to adapt writing style to varying target personas and content formats, e.g. landing pages, emails, ads (display and paid search), web, social media, etc.
- Manage external agencies and contractors
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing strategy, with a demonstrable track record of using content to drive revenue, leads, and customer acquisition
- Demonstrated simultaneous ownership of multiple enterprise-level owned media channels, including Blog, Email, SEO, and Organic Social Media
- Strong writing, copywriting, editing, and communication skills
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, focusing on metrics demonstrating content's impact on sales and business growth
