Job Summary (General Responsibilities):

As the Senior Marketing Manager on the Global Marketing team, you will focus on developing and driving go-to-market strategies for key product categories and oversee the planning and execution of new product introduction (NPI) launches. The role will proactively strategize with global Product Management to execute marketing programs and strategies that will drive awareness, preference, and sales of Belkin products with strategic channel partners. The Senior Marketing Manager will focus on driving brand awareness and cohesive brand and category messaging across multiple consumer and/or B2B touchpoints. There will be a balance of leading global marketing and product launch activities as well as partnering closely with our B2B teams to deliver on key business objectives for the brand. The role establishes communication strategy for the brand so he/she must be able to articulate the vision to a creative team for execution and the broader teams for understanding. This leadership position will involve leading and managing a small team.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Leads and/or oversees day to day management and execution of marketing activities including developing creative briefs, marketing plans, and product category marketing strategies

• Manage day-to-day planning and execution of marketing assets, including packaging, online content, copy, print and social media assets

• Work with regional and cross-functional teams to craft marketing strategy and cohesive marketing communication for key product categories and brand campaigns across multiple touch points, including but not limited to digital, advertising, and in-store/retail activities

• Leverage consumer insights to evolve the creative execution and targeting strategies as required

• Partner closely with internal and external agencies to develop content and execute product launches

• Develop and support global launch planning activities. Collaborate with the regional teams (Americas, EMEA, APeA, ANZ) to understand in-market strategies to ensure global alignment on marketing communication across multiple touch points.

• External agency partnership: manage agency on development of media tactics and ultimate NPI asset execution

• Develop an understanding of all elements of our business - product management, supply chain, product design, sell-in, in-store merchandising, engineering, etc. - to create long-term barriers-to-entry against competitors in a highly-competitive marketplace

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Out-of-the-box thinker who develops best-in-class, proven marketing strategies to launch goods into the consumer retail channel and/or B2B channel.

• 7+ years of experience in a similar role or related work experience within the consumer packaged goods or consumer electronics industry

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or other applicable discipline. MBA a plus.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including but not limited to Product Management and Creative teams and be a key partner in all projects

• Proven leadership skills, a strategic mindset, a passion for innovation and agile responsiveness

• Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
