The Job

The Senior Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for the delivery of internal and external communications representing simPRO Software globally and the simPRO Software suite of products. Leading cross-functional efforts in the creation of compelling positioning and go-to-market strategies to accelerate purchase decisions and drive product adoption. The function embodies the voice of the customer and feedback loops to support product delivery, and deliver adopter programs to determine the viability of new releases.

What You’ll Do

  • Project manage the product launch of new products and features including determining the internal/external release in conjunction with product development

  • Effectively translate technical feature details into benefits for our users

  • Lead the delivery of all product marketing materials including; blogs, web pages, product sheets, social/blog posts, video scripts, white papers, in app notifications and campaign related emails 

  • Enable sales and partners to sell by building effective sales tools such as slide decks, competitive positioning, FAQs

  • Market intelligence - you will provide industry, market and competitive intelligence via direct and indirect interactions with customers, prospects, partners, competitors and internal staff

  • Report on project status/content performance and continually improve our product delivery experience

  • Use your own product experience and digital adoption solutions to assist product-led adoption of our products and deliver great customer experiences 

  • Ensuring areas of non-conformance are escalated to Management

  • Continually review work practices and recommend ways in which practice, systems and/or processes can be automated and improved

  • Participate in activities that address improving performance and actively promote improvement.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or a related field

5+ years of Product Marketing experience in a B2B SaaS environment

Expert messaging and storytelling skills, with the ability to connect the dots between target markets, buyers, their needs, product value and positioning

Ability to blend the art and science of Product Marketing, adept at using data and running market tests to drive decision making

Agile mindset, able to deliver value in increments and helping create a culture of continuous improvement

Proven cross-functional teammate who can work through ambiguous challenges and collaborate to build alignment and agreement

Highly organized with proven ability to manage multiple work-streams at once in a fast paced environment

High degree of initiative, resourcefulness, personal responsibility and ownership

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
