Senior Product Operations Manager

As Marqeta’s Product Operations Manager, you will lead and monitor program health and risk operations for our credit card programs. You’ll be working with our Product, Engineering, Risk Operations, Support, Compliance, and Legal teams to define success metrics for credit card programs such as engagement, new accounts, and spend as well as set up monitoring for transaction-level fraud risk and payment risk for our credit customers. Credit card specific risk management experience is a must since you will be defining best practices and policies.

• Lead and monitor program success, operational processes, and risk monitoring across our extensive and growing portfolio of credit card programs
• Define and monitor and refine credit card program metrics and KPIs to measure success and potential risk and areas to drive continued success for our customers
• Work cross-functionally and lead the investigation and mitigation of any potential risks or suspicious activity in real-time
• Monitor success of program and card-level spend controls within the credit card products
• Carefully observe risk levels for transactions, disputes, and payment rates
• Work cross-functionally to deliver automated reporting solutions and monitoring for both internal and external stakeholders
• Recommend insights internally and externally to customers to improve program performance 

• Proven experience (6+ years) in a product or operations role within the financial services industry
• Deep understanding of the financial services industry, including specific experience in credit card programs, financial services, payments, processing, and/or financial technology and relevant regulations
• Experience in defining and implementing risk management policies and procedures
• Analytical skills and ability to set up and monitor reporting and dashboards for clearly defined metrics 
• Experience in SQL and demonstrated ability to write adaptive queries to look for potential fraud metrics in real-time
• Excellent understanding of risk management principles and the ability to implement effective controls and processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
