The Product Organization has grown rapidly, which has created a brand new opportunity for a Senior Product Operations Program Manager to work on cross Product initiatives. This role lives under the Product Strategy & Operations team.
At BILL, the Senior Product Operations Program Manager will enable the Product Organization (Product, Design, Research and Strategy) to do their best work by leading Tooling, working with Product Excellence to roll out initiatives, partnering on Planning and Budgeting. You will work on the tactical portions of strategic initiatives that drive our team and the business forward. The ideal candidate has an overall understanding of product and design processes, is an effective and respectful communicator, is skilled at building systems amid ambiguity, and is energized by operational efficiencies. We are in a period of transformation, we need someone that can come in as a generalist who knows how to grow and mature and organization through transformation.
Platform Ops
- Tooling strategy including identification, capabilities scoping, ultimate decisions (with stakeholder input) and vendor management
- Driving roll out initiatives for new tooling to product org in conjunction with IT VMO.
- Managing tooling budget, health and licensing
- Leading the Tools Council
- Partnering with IT VMO and Procurement to onboard vendors and contracts
- Identify areas of gaps, efficiencies and overlap within Tooling needs
- Partnering with key stakeholders to track metrics that matter through Measurement Tools
- Distribution list governance - onboarding and offboarding from our tooling
Practice Ops
- Participate in fiscal year planning and manage the day to day operating budget, including capitalization
- Continually identifying and driving process improvements and share best practices
- Maintain rhythms of the business to drive effective cross functional efforts and reinforce shared values, norms, and behaviors.
People Ops
- Working closely with our communication teams to improve overall employee engagement and build a culture of trust and inclusion across BILL Product teams
We’d love to chat if you have:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- At least right (5) years of experience in the UX Operations field, especially with vendor management and tooling
- Strong program management skills
- Familiarity with the roles of 3 in a box (or 3 legged stool) models for Product/Ux/Eng
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Ops processes, quarterly and annual planning and budgeting
- A plus if you have experience with Figma, ProductBoard, Maze
- Ability to own, drive and facilitate operations-related initiatives and programs
- Collaborative by nature, adept at problem solving, outcomes driven, you see the strategic and tactical view of things
- Demonstrated ability to communicate succinctly with varying audiences

This role is based in California.
The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in San Jose, CA. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL’s bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.
