Job Description

Q2 is seeking a Product Owner that is focused on supporting our regional and community bank and credit union customers with a superior user management application for online, voice, and mobile systems. Working within the Product Management Team, the Product Owner will be responsible for the roadmap and strategic planning of our Q2 Central product.โ€ฏ

In addition, you take a client-centric approach to product management and have demonstrated results-driving rapid modifications and initial concepts to new and existing products. Although you will work in the Product Group, you will continually work with, build, and influence cross-departmental workgroups with your outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ยท Fully research, scope, and develop a strategy for new and existing products/features for Q2, focused on high quality and aggressive adoption among our customer base

ยท Provide industry research to be utilized in product business cases. Act as primary liaison for your products between multiple departments, including design, development, sales, support, and implementations

ยท Work in a leadership role to champion end-user experience within products under your ownership

ยท Manage the product backlog, define new product specifications, scope bug fixes, and communicate release features on an ongoing basis

ยท Actively seek to integrate human interaction best practices and best in class front end design into each product you build

ยท Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are adhered to

ยท Deliver product acceptance testing protocol for the development organization you work with to ensure the highest quality and customer experience

ยท Work with the Release Management team to develop and deliver release documentation and training materials for internal groups on key functional aspects of products under your ownership

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

ยท Typically requires a bachelorโ€™s degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.

ยท 5-8 years in Product Management, financial services, or e-commerce is preferred

ยท Experience with Agile Scrum methodology

ยท Self-starter with proven ability to deliver results with minimal assistance is a must

ยท Knowledge of software product development lifecycle, understanding of product design, dependencies, and tradeoffs

ยท Ability to break down high-level features into tactical user stories and assign and track them across multiple organizations

ยท Outstanding problem solving and analytical abilities

ยท Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, organization, and presentation skills

ยท Comfortable working with remote Business/Leadership/Engineering teams

ยท Desire to work with highly scalable enterprise software
