Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to organize, prioritize, and assess work for the Accounting & Tax Team at Right Networks. The Senior Product Owner responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, designers, and developers to identify, define detailed requirements & user stories to support delivery of upcoming sprints. Have experience working with cross functional teams to validate and inform product requirements as needed.

Reporting to the Director of A&T Engineering, you’ll help us roll-out new product features and services that deliver on our vision of helping accounting and tax firms move their business to the cloud.

This is an on-site position in our Hudson, NH office.

Responsibilities

• Working with product management and key stakeholders incorporate feature requests into product roadmap.
• Regularly meet with the various teams to refine backlog, ensuring that it is always up to date and reflects the most current priorities.
• Work with product and engineering members to develop user stories and define acceptance criteria.
• Engage with developers to view demos of progress against sprint plan.
• Work with teams to set and communicate sprint goals.
• Define acceptance criteria in partnership with test automation engineers.
• Coordinate production releases with product management.
• Follow progress of work and address production issues during sprints.
• Analyze preferences and requests of end users and internal business stakeholders.
• Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback.
• Keep track of industry trends.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management.
• Work experience in an agile software development environment required.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform product decisions and measure success.
• Proven record of delivering key technology solutions to business partners.
• Flexibility in dealing with changes in dynamic markets and workforces.
