Senior Product Owner ( Contract / Full-Time / Remote)

We are looking for a full-time Product Owner to join our product development team. You will join the product team to help us plan and specify the essential components which will make our platform robust and scalable so that we can deploy it to municipalities around the world. We are looking for an experienced product owner, who has proven experience building SaaS products. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience working as a product owner or similar.

Role Responsibilities:

Feature Management: Create and maintain the feature roadmap.

Communication: Detailed specification of features with the stakeholder Product Owner.

Structuring: Define milestones and epics.

Documentation: Write user stories.

Planning: Conduct sprint planning based on projected capacity.

Organization: Prepare and conduct planning, grooming, and refinement sessions.

Support: Point of contact for detailed questions regarding issues.

Assignment: Assign issues to sprints.

Analysis: Independent and comprehensive business analysis of complex topics

Maintenance: Maintain and develop the representation of the data model.

Willingness to deep dive into technical details

Who we are looking for

Academic background in business (informatics), project management or another relevant course of study;

Professional experience as a product owner

You have experience in agile methods (e.g. Kanban or Scrum)

High attention to detail;

Previous experience working remotely;

Excellent English and German speaking skills (writing and verbal);

EU Timezone Candidates (CET +/- 2)

Tools and Technologies

Experience with a programming language

Experience working with iOS and Android mobile apps

Nice to have:

Experience with Maps/Routing/Navigation

Experience in building products that are powered by big-data;
