Senior Product Owner, Actimize

At Actimize we stop bad people from doing bad things. To this effectively, we need to enrich the system of records with additional external data that builds a System of holistic insights. We are looking for a product owner to help us build the next generation FinCrime Investigation & Detection system using the insights done via external 3rd Party Integrations. The person will work with people from with cross-functional team of domain experts to carve out the foundation of "System of Insights" which will notch up the quality of FinCrime Prevention & Detection.

So, what's the role all about?

To be successful in this position, this individual must be highly effective working both independently and in cross-functional capacities to identify, define, analyze, prioritize, and refine technology requirements across all categories. Successful candidates will be skilled at forging strong partnerships with business sponsors, product owners, architects, and developers to define feature sets, story maps, detailed user stories (functional and non-functional) to support the development process. 

How will you make an impact?

• Work with cross functional teams to identify the 3rd Party Integrations to be built
• Work on identifying the efficient & scalable data-model
• Manage the backlog grooming & prioritization
• Understand the FinCrime Trends & come up with recommendations around effective use of external data
• Driving Roadmap Definition and alignment with key stakeholders from within the Product team and also the implementation team
• Synthesize information and clear set of action-items & workstreams for the RnD team
• Drive the Scrum teams forward

Have you got what it takes?

• Ability to synthesize discussions & convert those into meaningful milestones for scrum teams
• Ability to manage the breadth & depth of highly technical discussions across range of stakeholders who could between highly business-focused to highly technical
• Willingness to build technological awareness around new technologies
• Ability to generalize requirements in a way that it follows the "Build Once, Use Many" approach
• Computer Science Graduate
• 4+ Years of Product Management Experience
• Technical Experience on Database, Cloud & APIs
• Experience of working on complex Data-Management offerings
• Experience of working on 3rd Party Integrations
