We are now looking for a passionate Senior Product Owner to join one of our ambitious, cross-functional teams and help build the next generation of our ecommerce platform. As one of the Product Owners at Lampenwelt you are key to facilitate best in class marketplace navigation to discover and find relevant products. You also offer most relevant recommendations to inspire our customers and enable meaningful up and cross selling opportunities. You deliver relevance and personalization through breakthrough search strategies and flawless execution. You will own the strategic direction, executable roadmap, and measurable outcomes for the search & recommendation platform which is the front door to our complete marketplace with millions of products to be discovered.

Where your expertise is needed

• 5+ years experience in Marketplace/eCommerce Search & Recommendation services
• Technical background (or technical understanding with focus on Search technologies, Ranking algorithms, protocols, NLP, Machine Learning, Recommendation & Personalization technologies
• You own the product vision and drive your products to deliver against it without losing sight of the customer
• You use data and analytics to derive actions, measure the impact and improve your products
• You are a team player who loves to collaborate with designers and developers to motivate inter-disciplinary teams with your positive attitude
• You are a great communicator and enjoy partnering with business and technology leadership

What will help you to master future challenges

• 5+years of proven, relevant experience in ecommerce product management
• Fluency in English (German skills are an add-on, no must-have)
• Strong portfolio of published products and projects, successful track record
• Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment
• Fast thinker who can iterate quickly and get things done
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand, analyze and clearly communicate business problems and priorities to engineering teams
• Solid knowledge of Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics, SEO, A/B testing as well as modern UI/UX and mobile trends
• Analytical and data driven mindset: You build features not just because you like them, but because you know they will have an impact
• Consequent prioritization in order to master the continuous flow of ideas and requests for product changes
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and a can-do attitude
