Senior Product Owner (IT BSA) - Remote
Job Description
The Senior IT Business Systems Analyst helps client areas achieve their objectives by serving as a resource across functional boundaries and business areas in the analysis of business and user needs, application of technology solutions.
What are the Key Responsibilities:
- Drives business architecture design (including Business Process), capability roadmap development and strategy development for the domain
- Responsible for leading/facilitating business and functional requirements gathering and determining technical impacts
- Leads the development of system related documentation that includes flow charts, work flow tables, mapping documents, integration specifications and provides system training
- Provides oversight for the development of user acceptance criteria, test plans and test cases. Oversees functional/user testing (User Acceptance Testing) and accountable for user sign off of changes
- Developing User Stories and Acceptance Criteria: Prioritizing and refining the product backlog, which involves creating and ordering backlog items such as features, user stories, and bug fixes.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicating with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
- Collaborating with Development Teams: working closely with development teams to ensure they understand the backlog priorities and the larger goals of the product.
- Participating in Agile Ceremonies: Attending and actively participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Ensuring Quality: Overseeing the development process to ensure the final product meets quality standards and fulfills customer needs.
- Roadmap Planning and Updating:Creating and regularly updating the product roadmap to communicate the direction and progress of the product.
- Understand ITSM Practices: Familiar with ITIL practices such as Change, Incident, etc.
What is Required:
- 5+ years related work experience in Application development and/or systems analysis role
- Experience with enterprise IT Service Management Platform(s), like BMC Helix, Ivanti and ServiceNow
- Experience coordinating activities and deliverables of matrixed teams through software development frameworks In-depth knowledge agile processes and principles.
- Demonstrated success in managing team work effort, including managing timelines, risks, and recommendations on keeping project on track.
- Proven ability to dive deep into issues with the goal to deliver solutions in fast paced evolving environment.
- Proven track record of working with various stakeholders from issue identification to issue resolution
- Hands-on experience with agile management tools like Jira or Rally SAFe framework
- Strong understanding of integration points of assigned business/systems and processes and highly experienced in requirement gathering methodologies and the SDLC
- Proven leadership abilities including effective knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, facilitation of open discussions, fairness and displaying appropriate levels of assertiveness
- Understanding of a variety of architecture standards and ability to apply them in their design work
- Ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences
- High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy, and demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to build relationships.
- Excellent communication skills including ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to audiences with diverse knowledge base.
- Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience IT related field
What is Preferred:
- Lean/Six Sigma certification or Product Owner certification
- Business knowledge of Florida Blue or other healthcare industry.
- ITIL version 3 or 4 Certification
General Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Annualized Salary Range: $93,700 - $152,200
Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $93,700 - $117,100
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
