Job Description


The Senior Product Owner Specialist bridges the gap between business strategy and the system development work that is needed. Working closely with the users to understand processes and needs. Responsible for the backlog of work, organizing sprints, and are expected to answer questions from developers as needed.

  • Work closely with the end users, define the next iterations of the systems and plan the releases.
  • Awareness of business goals the information systems need to achieve
  • Maximize the value provided by systems
  • Apply subject expertise in evaluating business operations and processes.
  • Clearly define upcoming features for the developers of the system
  • Document processes and disseminating information to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct evaluations over business processes and identify key recommendations to streamline and enhance processes that will improve the quality of services provided to customers
  • Identify areas where technical solutions would improve business performance.
  • Consult across business operations, provide mentorship, and contribute specialized knowledge.
  • Recommend technical solutions and determine software development requirements.
  • Provide subject expertise and guidance to IT developers during the software development life cycle.
  • Verify technical reference information, including user guides, training manuals, and system requirements.
  • Ensure accurate representation of expertise prior to the distribution of technical solutions to end-users.
  • Monitor and analyze risks for the organization in evaluating project plan deployment
  • Develop relationships throughout the business for strategic alignment

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Prior experience with Salesforce or Salesforce Admin Certification
  • Prior experience working in the P&C Insurance industry
  • Project Management - Agile framework experience
  • Strong negotiation, organization, management, analytical and people skills
  • Ability to communicate process, concepts, and technical requirements effectively at all levels
  • Collaboration skills
  • Superb attention to detail, a positive attitude, and effective problem-solving skills
  • Agility to work and learn multiple systems and platforms
  • Maintain a consistent process improvement mindset
