Your Impact 

As Product Security Manager you will work with product management and engineering teams across the entire Axon portfolio. You will lead a team of Product Security Engineers to solve complex security challenges from hardware devices to SaaS solutions. We are looking for Security leader who can Join Forces with our engineering and product teams to drive secure product development.

What You’ll Do 

Location: Remotely from United States OR Onsite at our Seattle, WA office.

Reports to: Director of Security Engineering & Operations

Direct Reports: 6 Product Security Engineers

• Manage a team of Product Security Engineers covering all Axon products, from software to hardware devices
• Direct and guide product security initiatives with cross functional teams including Software Engineers and Product Management
• Lead initiatives to continually grow our secure software development practices
• Develop and manage a roadmap for product security across Axon’s extensive product portfolio

What You Bring

• Product Management experience (Security space preferred)
• Experience in Application Security and/or Hardware Security
• Previous leadership or management experience of small teams
• Previous experience working with or supporting SaaS offerings
• Excellent problem-solving skills, well-structured written and verbal communication

Pay Transparency

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 130,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 170,000 in the highest geographic market. The on target earnings range for this role is between USD 180,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 250,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
