Senior Product Software Engineer

General Duties & Responsibilities

Develop new functionality and maintain/improve existing features

Design and develop high quality, high performance and secure software applications using the latest stack of inhouse developed technologies, innovations and software best practices

Analyse product requirements and design solutions according to company standards and techniques

Implement and test high quality and performant product features by using WK’s domain specific rules language

Participate in peer code reviews (using tooling), customer support etc

Implement business requirements and functional specifications defined by functional analysts

Evaluate the impact of new developments on the application and its data model and contribute to the technical design of the application as well as working closely with the functional team to ensure a clear understanding of those requirements

Required Skills

Proven experience with scripting languages (like DSL, VB Script, etc.)

Proven experience with programming languages like Java, Java Enterprise, C++

Interest in learning inhouse developed technology stack

PL/SQL knowledge

Relational databases working experience (Oracle and/or MS SQL)

Knowledge of XBRL/ XML

Basic knowledge on finance/banking or strong interest to acquire it on the job

Experience with GIT,Team City, Maven, Jira and environment configuration will be a plus

Fluent in English (written and verbal)

Education

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Informatics Economics, Applied Informatics or a related field

Experience

4+ years' experience within a software company as a Software Developer
