Senior Product Specialist

Summary / Role Purpose

The Product specialist II works closely with Application Engineers and product developers to drive product development and provide expert help in deployment of Ansys solutions. In this role, the Product specialist II will collaborate with a team of expert professionals to accomplish objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with Customers and Application Engineers to understand new field requirements and create product specifications
• Validate new product features and ensure it meets the requirements
• Provide expertise to application engineers and customers in deploying select advanced features
• Work behind the scenes, be task-orientated and take direction from a mentor to assist with evaluations, benchmarks, or demos
• Develop the trust and respect of team members

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

• MS or Ph.D. inEngineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Working experience with Physical design and verification, EDA methodology or relevant research experience

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Technical knowledge and experience withpower modeling of ICs, IR drop analysis, thermal analysis, advanced process technology
• Experience in a large-scale commercial software support
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn quickly and to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team
