We are looking for a talented Production Engineer to join our team & help ensure the seamless operation of our production systems troubleshoot issues effectively and collaborate closely with our development teams.

Here’s what you’ll do

• Keep Our Systems Running: Understand how our systems and applications function the limitations and dependencies allowing you to respond to and mitigate outages efficiently. Drive best practices and improvements through the RCA process.

• Customer Excellence: Investigate and resolve support requests from our SRT Customers and internal Synackers using your debugging and engineering skills. Suggest and/or implement improvements to the process or the application itself.

• Knowledge Sharing and Learning: Always looking for ways to improve yourself and spreading that knowledge with others around you. Not afraid to ask questions or write a bit of documentation.

• Advance our Monitoring: Bring your DevOps mindset and help improve our monitoring alerting dashboards and metrics to keep us proactive instead of reactive.

• Prioritize Digital Safety: Partner with our security team to keep our applications safe patched and security conscious.

Here’s what you’ll need

• 5+ years of working in the Cloud [Azure GCP AWS]

• 5+ years of Linux command line experience across distributed systems

• 5+ years of Networking using TCP/IP SSL certificates

• 2+ years of Programming in languages such as Rails and GoLang

• Education: A degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline or practical experience.

• Creativity: You can think outside the box (and inside) have an appetite for the details and you see complexity as a challenge.

Bonus if you have experience in

• Kubernetes (K8s) Docker

• JavaScript PubSub Databases

• GitHub Actions

• Cybersecurity (vulnerabilities app/network security)

($115000 - $185000 USD p/y) Salary is determined by a combination of factors including location level relevant experience and skills. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
