Position Summary

Provide expert technical support in the pre-sales process and creates compelling technical and commercial solutions to help achieve the assigned sales goals and business objectives.
Role and Responsibilities

Provide expert technical support in the pre-sales process and creates compelling technical and commercial solutions to help achieve the assigned sales goals and business objectives. Work closely with various support organizations, logistics, and cross- functional teams from SEA and Samsung HQ to achieve successful new product rollouts and developments. Drive technical discussions for our customer's LTE and 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) in critical markets. Translate and communicate complex technical design considerations between the Samsung sales team and customer's network business (sales calls, joint network design discussions, etc.). Develop deep relationships within customer's network business at multiple levels of the technical organization and nationwide market. Establish/maintain trust and rapport as the SME for technical network solutions. Create proposals based on new and existing contractual agreements. Educate our network customers on Samsung's new products and services both individually and in a team environment. Ensuring that customer commitments are achieved according to plan. Work with Samsung marketing and engineering teams for product development plans, schedules, and product introductions. Work closely with various support organizations, logistics, and cross- functional teams from SEA and Samsung HQ to achieve successful new product rollouts and developments. Work to identify technical needs so that technical solutions can be developed and positioned to drive sales revenue targets. Support business meetings initiated by Samsung's customer Account Sales Leadership to increase existing sales and introduce new products.

Skills and Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Networks, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or a foreign equivalent, plus 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related. In lieu of a Master's degree and 2 years of experience, Employer is willing to accept a Bachelor's Degree Computer Networks, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 5 years of progressively responsible postbaccalaureate experience in job offered or related. Applicants must have 2 years of experience (5 years in possession of relevant Bachelor's Degree) in: (1) Wireless/Networks technology industry including Radio / RF engineering, LTE Design, Wireless Network design, and RF Planning; (2) wireless 3GPP Radio Access Technologies and protocols such including IMS, 5G, LTE, 3G, VoLTE, VoNR, Network Slicing, and URLLC; (3) 5G RF planning including In-Building Distributed Antenna System Radio and End-to-end network; (4) LTE, 5G protocol layer structure including PHY,MAC, RLC, RRC, and PDCP; (5) Radio/RF planning and working with LTE Distributed Antenna System network in a hands-on capacity and consultative design capacity; and (6) Cellular network protocol stack, features for deployment use cases, including macro, in-building and fixed wireless access. 10% domestic travel required.
