About the Role
As a Senior Implementation Services Engineer, you will architect and deliver high-value services projects to Aurora's Solar industry customers. You will provide a consultative approach to guide customers through architecture development, platform implementation, and customization projects. You will team up with Professional Services Engagement Managers as a technical expert on customer-facing projects. You have top-tier consultative and technical skills and will work cross-functionally with departments such as Sales Engineering, Product, Customer Education, and Support to develop and scale innovative solutions for our customers. We are a customer-obsessed and partner-friendly Professional Services organization always seeking to increase our impact and customer ROI.
What You'll Do
  • Guide customers toward the successful adoption of Aurora products based on customers' needs.
  • Direct gathering of technical customer requirements and architect technical implementation plans.
  • Design solutions and test plans based on product capabilities to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain and update account documentation: technical requirements, workflow chart, project status, and log timeline activities in a Professional Services Automation tool.
  • Help Technical Support Engineers provide post-implementation support.
  • Work with Product and Engineering on customer feature requests and feedback.
  • Implement best practices in aligning different systems & architectures to work well collectively

What We Value
  • Bachelor's degree in CS or MIS; or equivalent experience
  • Strong Software Engineering skills
  • Strong Knowledge of database systems & object oriented programming, SQL knowledge
  • Experience working with CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce, Zoho, Enerflo) and 3rd party APIs
  • Proficient with typical architectures & technologies around integration, e.g. SSO, APIs (especially REST & JSON)
  • Experience leading and crafting technical projects, engaging with, and motivating change across multiple levels of IT organizations
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solver, constantly curious and eager to learn
  • Salesforce Platform Developer Certifications preferred
  • Javascript & Python
