Senior Program Manager

Job title: Senior Program Manager
Duration:8 months (contract only)
Location:Portland, Oregon (Remote)

Key Skills Required: MS Project, MS Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint, Strong budget / cost management, Project Management Process, Interpersonal Skills, Analytical Skills, Leadership Skills

Job Responsibilities:

• A typical day/week includes program managing priority programs across key functions, running all intake and implementation for that area, and sharing key insights/findings/roadblocks with the cross-functional leadership team.
• Coaching and mentoring of project team members including less seasoned Project managers in an inspirational and effective manner is critical.
• Substantial experience leading multiple projects in a large-scale Systems delivery environment.

Required qualifications and skills:

• 2+ years additional relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Aha!, and Asana project management software preferred.
• Experience navigating global cross-functional, networked teams.
• Bias toward action, solutioning, and driving results.
• Exceptional collaboration, listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in leading & driving organizational changes (people, process, tools).
• Experience working on complex programs in the digital space.
• Expert experience developing and managing stakeholder engagement, operating models, work back schedules, scope, budgets, resource plans, issues, risks, and change requests.
• Highly flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities.

Desired educational qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in program management, Bachelor's degree
• Bachelor's degree in Business, CS, or equivalent and 6+ years tech exp or business exp that includes working closely with IT.
• PMP certified is preferred.
