Senior Program Manager

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Product PMO Professional to join our dynamic team. This role requires a deep understanding of Agile and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies to manage product roadmaps and steer the initiatives effectively. The successful candidate will drive the product development process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:

• Oversee PMO Functions: Focus on Agile and SAFe practices to enhance product development processes.
• Align Product Roadmaps: Collaborate with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to synchronize product roadmaps with quarterly objectives.
• Scale Agile Practices: Guide the organization in scaling Agile practices, particularly SAFe, to optimize product delivery across teams.
• Facilitate Strategic Meetings: Lead initiative-based meetings to discuss strategic priorities, resolve complex issues, and drive innovation.
• Enhance Productivity and Quality: Improve team productivity and product quality through effective planning, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Agile Coaching: Provide coaching on Agile methodologies and SAFe practices to support a high-performing culture.
• Maintain Communication: Ensure visibility and communication on product progress, risks, and changes to stakeholders.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• ​Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Certifications: Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or equivalent Agile certification.
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in product management or project management, with a focus on Agile and SAFe practices.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing product roadmaps and leading initiative-based meetings in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of product development tools and techniques, especially in the Agile world.
• Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Industry Experience: Experience in a product company is a significant advantage.
• Tool Familiarity: Proficiency with product management software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello, Aha!).
