As our Senior Program Manager, you will lead the cross-functional launch, life-cycle and change management for two major DAS / WLAN initiatives in New York. In this role, you will assume responsibility for the overall program administration including working side-by-side with our highly-regarded Field Team in New York and coordination with the Program Management Office in Southern California.  This is a great opportunity for an effective Project Manager to work on a flag-ship project, with a top-flight team.  Boingo will support your success with effective, kind colleagues, robust benefits, and years of institutional industry knowledge.  We work together to accomplish incredible things!

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Field Team to assist with construction coordination activities and to provide all necessary support/follow-up as needed to drive projects through to completion.
• Work cross-functionally with accounting, field engineering, development, quality assurance, product management, marketing, operations, business development, engineering, professional services, and third-party stake-holders (just about everybody!) through network buildout, project closeout, project lifecycle.
• Understand business and technical requirements, and evaluate contracts and SOW’s to define project scope, delivery commitments.
• Drive project activities against plans and, develop and manage project status documentation and communications.
• As part of project status tracking and reporting, continuously assess project risk factors and recommend appropriate courses of action to mitigate.
• Lead and manage recurring partner requirements, service levels, reporting, change management, and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) including project reporting and meetings

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as Program Manager or Project Manager for consumer product projects in the telecommunications industry
• You are organized, mindful of the details, and a problem-solver
• You’ve shown that you understand the technical aspects of network deployment, software development, product management and life-cycle operations
• Proven track record in delivering large scale projects on schedule
• Sound business judgment and ability to make data-driven decisions
• You know your audience; you adjust your communication style for different audiences; technical teams, clients, internal updates. You create and deliver effective presentations, and reports
• Successful track record in a fast pace, changing environment with multiple, competing priorities
• Experience working on technology projects in the telecommunications or Internet industry preferred
• Experience working with Finance or Accounting teams preferred
• PMP certification and/or Scrum Master certification a plus; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Travel to Los Angeles for extended training and periodically throughout the project.
