Senior Program Manager, Google Cloud
Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in systems development/testing, or as product/program/testing manager.
- Experience with quality assurance standards and processes, test planning, scripting, and execution.
- Experience with defect tracking and issue resolution, production validation, operational support.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in quality assurance.
- Experience in working with a range of functional domains (e.g., engineering/user experience/product, finance, policy/legal, marketing, communications) and/or in consulting.
- Experience in an enterprise B2B and channel business environment working either as an operations contributor or directly in a program management capacity.
- Knowledge of commercial Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Configure, Pricing and Quoting (CPQ) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, and communication skills.

As a Senior Program Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the business validation testing for system capabilities within Google Cloud. You will be managing, implementing, and successfully executing Quality Assurance for complex technology/program roll-outs and cross-functional initiatives. You'll build partnerships with leaders and their teams across Google to drive those cross-functional teams to success. You have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills. You are comfortable working on multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $151,000-$232,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quality assurance standards and processes.
- Execute business requirements and create test plans, scripts, and cross-functional assessments.
- Assist in analysis of issues and work with the Engineering team in deciphering impact of the issues.
- Participate in production validation activities to ensure migration of data to the production environment is done accurately.
- Participate in project activities, including prioritizing, developing schedules, preparing plans, process and procedure documentation, and effectively resolving issues as they arise.
