Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and seasoned Program Manager to join the Podcast Mission, the team that owns Spotify’s end to end proposition for podcast creators. The team is responsible for building the best tools for podcasters, owning the creator-facing products of Spotify for Podcasters (S4P) and Megaphone, which enable content management, audience growth, and monetization at scale.

We've done a lot already, and we have no plans of slowing down. Come help us build the future for podcast creators and their relationship with Spotify!

What You'll Do

  • Set up execution frameworks and coordinate with cross-functional working groups to deliver on large-scale programs with multiple connected workstreams.
  • Work closely with tech, product, design, and marketing teams to define roadmaps and clearly map out dependencies.
  • Lead day-to-day program operations, working with various collaborators to facilitate coordination and collaboration.
  • Communicate program updates to all relevant parties using a variety of communication channels and tactics, including company wide processes for leadership.
  • Drive decision making and alignment across senior leadership, including Directors and VPs.
  • Enable continuous improvement during the program ensuring findings are captured, shared, and integrated.
  • Promote a happy, healthy program team by organizing ways to celebrate successes and wins, as well as takeaways and reflections.
  • Help drive company and mission-wide processes, such as goal-setting, tracking, tooling adoption and broad communications.
  • Represent the our Podcast strategy in cross-functional forums across the company

Who You Are

  • You have senior-level experience running and representing large, cross-functional programs.
  • You’ve worked directly with software development teams, while also handling complex dependencies across legal, licensing, and UX.
  • You’re a great communicator who can bring clarity to the problem spaces you take on, and develop strong relationships and trust with partners and stakeholders.
  • You have a proven track record of influencing and delivering without formal authority over the teams with whom you are working.
  • You’re comfortable balancing multiple concurrent projects in an agile, fast-paced, and international environment.
  • You love getting things done and working with lots of people to do it.

Where You'll Be

  • For this role there will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come into the New York City office 1 time per week.

The United States base range for this position is $146,816 - $209,737, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. These ranges may be modified in the future.
