We are recruiting for two (2) positions that can be in National Grid's Upstate NY Service Territory with a home/storm response office located in Buffalo, Syracuse or Albany, NY. These remote/hybrid roles are customer-facing and include back-office, team events, storm response, customer visits and conference/community based activities to promote/support the program and the company's objectives. Travel expectations are at 25% but may increase as part of program need or storm response assignment.

Job Purpose
We are looking for two Senior Program Managers to join our NY Customer Sales and Solutions department as part of our Electric Vehicle Implementation team in Upstate New York. These roles will focus on delivering a new residential program focused on off-peak electric vehicle ("EV") charging with a planned launch in early 2023. This program has multiple facets including customer awareness/education, a buildout of our online marketplace, the development of a contract installation network, and the management of the off-peak EV charging programs and incentives.
These Senior Program Managers roles will be vital members of the NY EV Implementation team and handle all aspects of the program as outlined of the Managed Charging Implementation Plan (MCIP) filed with the New York State Public Service Commission (PSC). These duties may include but are not limited to program implementation activities such as vendor management (for charging installation/marketplace services and managed charging), integration of vendors with system and process development, customer outreach, engagement and enrollment activities, and measuring customer satisfaction. Additional implementation activities include enrollment and budget forecasting, supporting customer bill transparency, measures analysis, reporting and supporting program goals.
These positions will tap into a variety of skill sets including project/program management, business development, forecasting, budgeting, marketing, systems and process integration, customer satisfaction, emerging technologies, as well as collaboration activities with our Commercial EV Make Ready Program and Energy Efficiency Programs.

Key Accountabilities
Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Deliver high quality work with adherence to corporate values and policies, adapt to market conditions, meet deadlines that that support and achieve program goals
- Enthusiasm to work in the field of Clean Transportation and collaboration with our EV Make Ready Program, Fleet and Direct Current Fast Charger (DCFC) Program Managers as well as Marketing and Residential Program Managers to supporting sales, channel outreach, internal electric operations, design, and connections teams to understand program impacts as we deliver on goals
- An ability to explore and implement innovative solutions across the value chain (hardware, vendors, technology, and OEMs, etc.) that will deliver value to customer segments
- Engage with internal teams and vendors to improve the customer experience, awareness, and engagement.
- Execute on business development plans that operationalize a multi-year program to delivery on goals such as monthly targets including application and installations, quarterly forecast and metrics, and annual reporting requirements
- Overcome challenges to achieve to goals while collaborating with teams to create a culture and platform for future growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Master's Degree with MBA or focus on sustainability welcome (preference).
- Five years' professional experience in program management, consumer-based technical sales, or project implementation
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and deadlines at pace
- Strong communication skills including public speaking and presentation, interpersonal, and technical writing skills
- Demonstrated skills in the use of or ability to learn relevant software programs e.g., Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint), SAP, Salesforce.com for tracking and reporting
- Demonstrated experience analyzing information, both technical and financial, and making recommendations based on that information preferred
- Welcome experience includes:
- experience in electric vehicles, energy efficiency, program management, industrial, commercial and/or residential building systems, energy regulation or environmental policy welcome
- utility experience working with customer connections, account services, operations management, or clean energy programs

Salary
Upsate NY: $82,000 - $97,000 a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
