Senior Program Manager, Talent Intelligence
Job Description
We're curious, we're thorough, we're predictive.
The Talent Intelligence team at Uber performs Labor Market Research which fuels our business strategy, workforce strategy, and talent acquisition strategy!
As a Talent Intelligence Program Manager, you'll wear multiple hats: you'll be the innovator, architect, storyteller, and driver! You'll be working directly with Uber leadership to understand business problems as related to Labor Markets, and you'll provide predictive, data-backed recommendations that optimize decisions.
What You'll Do:
- You'll atone for the changing market conditions by refining our TI mission, vision and values - building a nimble research structure and value proposition.
- Develop clear lanes for TI which evolve as Uber's needs evolve; a governance model which indicates where we play and where we don't.
- Plan and organize by developing the team's roadmap and priorities, keeping the team on track to reach the completion of critical research and projects aligned to Uber's mission.
- Architect TI research methodology, ensuring consistency in the way we collect information, analyze information, and share information across partner groups and leadership.
- Build products/tools/processes that reduce redundancies in work, and scale universally where needs for that type of research are universal.
- Influence partners with disparate ends around common goals, driving toward Uber first (OneUber) outcomes.
- Drive the team's continuous improvement; addressing gaps and opportunities to optimize the program at large.
- Refine reactive, proactive and predictive service lines.
- Partner closely with TA and people teams, using intelligence to influence where we look for talent, how we look for talent, and when we look for talent.
- Partner with, consult to, and present to senior leadership up to C-levels across all functions; influencing action from talent market insights.
Basic Qualifications
- Prior experience with quantitative and qualitative research and analysis methods, spanning across both historical and predictive.
- Experience using SQL to retrieve, merge, analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple data sources; following a 'best data from the best source' method.
- Program Management experience; experience managing programs with multiple projects to completion, rallying partners with different ends around collective outcomes.
- The ability to present research insights in a simple way, influencing partners across all levels (to include executive levels) around business, workforce, and talent acquisition strategies/decisions.
- Expert level experience with G-suite sheets, Google Data Studio and Tableau.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of technology applications and coding languages (e.g., R, DQLs)
- Experienced with app scripts for automation
- Experience with talent intelligence resources and tools like LinkedIn Insights, Emsi/Lightcast, Talent Neuron
- Experience with CRMs and ATS like Beamery, iCIMS
- Having worked in Recruiting/HR
