The Opportunity
The Senior Programs Manager - Events will plan and execute Workhuman's event focused audience acquisition strategy & promotional campaigns for our growing portfolio of external events - including our Spotlight series, tradeshows and our Gratitude Bar OTR series. In this role, you will establish an ongoing cadence of campaigns aimed at segmented target audiences that generates event awareness, drives registration, and nurtures relationships pre and post event.
You will develop and lead a comprehensive portfolio of campaigns across multiple audience segments and events. The campaigns will be designed to nurture, engage and attract audiences to Workhuman events throughout the year. S/he will be the be a marketing strategist for assigned segments/events and will oversee campaign roll-out across channels. This role will own campaigns from end-to-end while working with Marketing Automation, Content, Events, and other colleagues to ensure all programs are flawlessly executed and highly effective. To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to think strategically, while also executing diligently, in order to maximize the impact of each campaign on audience acquisition and goal attainment.
What you will do
  • Design, develop and oversee audience acquisition, nurturing, and follow-up campaigns for Workhuman Spotlight and all Workhuman third party tradeshows and events globally
  • Partner with events experiential & operations team on event elements, speakers, themes, and engagement opportunities to incorporate into campaign value proposition and onsite engagement
  • Work closely with product and content marketing to activate personas in campaign creation
  • Develop compelling end-to-end program briefs (including desired audience, pain points)
  • You will run the campaign calendar and email cadence to ensure optimal engagement and prevent list fatigue
  • Communicate regularly with the sales team on announcements for upcoming campaigns, status on current campaigns, and results on completed campaigns
  • Connect GTM priorities with Sales success by defining, instrumenting, measuring and executing end-to-end campaigns
  • Partnering with digital, content, field, social marketing and marketing operations to align multi-channel execution
  • Align with field marketing manager to develop region specific campaigns where appropriate
  • Foster relationships with external agencies and 3rd party partnerships for campaign execution
  • Lead tracking, reporting, and analysis for assigned programs
  • Test new tools to innovate and scale programs, with an emphasis on integrated marketing

The skills you bring
  • 10+ years of marketing experience in a demand generation and digital marketing capacity, planning and executing integrated campaigns
  • Self-starter who is always looking to strategically push the envelope and think outside of the box.
  • Demonstrable experience with tradeshow (in-person) and digital/virtual event marketing
  • Excellent project management and strong communication & organizational skills
  • Experience working with personas and mapping to the buyer's journey
  • Experience partnering with sales and marketing teams to deliver integrated marketing programs
  • Experience with establishing and managing external partner relationships
  • Superb interpersonal skills and are at ease influencing people at all levels across all regions
  • Strong track record of quantifiably driving new revenue and accelerating pipeline
  • Proficient skills in utilizing marketing tools, including CRM (Salesforce) and marketing automation (Marketo)
  • Experience with integrated campaign attribution and reporting to prove program ROI
  • Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced, environment
  • Deep analytical skills to evaluate new opportunities against the status quo for optimal planning
  • Ability to travel to events as necessary (~15%)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
