Senior Project Analyst- Entity Simplification and Governance Office Management

Job Description Summary

This is a key position in the Entity Simplification team supporting the central operations of the team. This is a unique role, combining data analytics, database management, metrics analysis and reporting with the objective of building understanding of cross functional dependencies/needs required to support the delivery of entity simplification and governance program.

The role will work closely with the Entity Simplification team, Project Managers, Leaders, and SteerCo to bring visibility to key tools, data, standard processes, and metrics. This will be a key enabler in helping GE Vernova achieve the goals on legal entity reduction and simplification. The role entails building knowledge of the GE Vernova entity landscape, tools, businesses, functions, and planning requirements. The role will also build knowledge of the entity simplification project manager role by supporting existing project managers that are planning and executing entity simplification opportunities and steps.

The ultimate leadership objective is to enable productivity through the optimization of the number of legal entities GE Vernova operates in, leaning our manufacturing, distribution and commercial legal entity structure and reducing our overhead costs resulting from our current legal entity footprint.

What you will do

• Project office management
• Maintain the master data set for Entity Simplification in Smartsheet
• Build and maintain metrics dashboards using Smartsheet and Power BI tools.
• Support the creation of presentations.
• Foster a work culture that is positive, collaborative, respectful, innovative, dynamic, with high integrity,
• Play a key role in the legal entity simplification program for GE Vernova

What you will bring

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• Strong experience with financial operations
• Fluent English verbal and written communication
• Ability to summarize complex technical topic in functional terms
• Strong finance / controllership experience
• Functional knowledge in closing & reporting tools and processes
• Some experience in the management of projects, including the ability to deliver on-time and high quality deliverables
