Senior Project Coordinator
Job Description
What You'll Do:
- Participates in a wide array of support activities associated with project planning and management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to client specifications
- Supports overall success of less complex or small projects
- Supports end to end project management activities such as reporting, planning, issue / risk tracking, work breakdown structures, scheduling effort estimation and tracking, other project documentation preparation and turnover to production
- Supports efforts to ensure work is performed within the program and project management policies, standards, procedures and frameworks with established tools and techniques routinely used for project management
- Supports the development of detailed project plans and schedules including goals, risks and resource allocation
- Monitors project results for significant deviations
- Supports project relations to ensure that service expectations are developed and met
- Maintains regular contact with project team; coordinates and reports on project progress and accomplishments
- Supports efforts to work with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute the project
- Supports communications with project stakeholders
- May guide other Project Management support staff
- Contributes to the achievement of team objectives
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification is beneficial
- 2-4 years of related program and/or project management experience required
- Experience with operations, technology and/or financial services industry is a plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills required
