WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Project Engineer for our Miami office. Be involved in projects with our Florida PMCM Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.

Job Description:
  • Participate as a member of the Consultant Construction Engineering and Inspection (CCEI) contract team
  • Direct a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection project/program
  • Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members; develop and/or review project specific policies, methods, practices, and procedures
  • Review programs for conformance with Client standards
  • Identify and pursue future opportunities
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining an excellent professional relationship with those organizations to facilitate both the successful completion of current ongoing projects and the successful pursuit of follow-on assignments
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of
  • Conduct and related policies and procedures
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Civil Engineering degree and registered in the State of Florida as a Professional Engineer (or if registered in another state, the ability to obtain registration in the State of Florida within six months) and
  • 15 years of engineering experience [(two (2) years of which are in major road and cable supported bridge construction)] or [(five (5) of which are in major cable stayed bridge construction) for Complex Bridge Projects with the exception of PTS projects which require two (2) years of major bridge construction].
  • Attend the CTQP Quality Control Manager course and pass the examination.
  • FDOT Advanced MOT Certification.
  • Complete the Critical Structures Construction Issues (Self-Study Course), and submit the mandatory Certification of Course Completion form.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
  • Must successfully complete and pass WSP's Motor Vehicle screening.
