Senior Project Engineer (Global Market Access)

JOB DESCRIPTION
Oversees the execution and timely completion of engineering projects related to Global Market Access (GMA), focusing on Product Safety, Energy Efficiency, especially on EMC/Wireless approvals.
Manages all aspects of the project lifecycle, including initiation, maintenance. completion, and closure as the designated GMA Project Handler. Additionally, may serve as GMA Reviewer, conducting requires evaluations to ensure compliance with GMA standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Defines project scopes, develops investigation plans, and sets specifications for coat, timeline, and sample requirements based on client input, supplemental data, and product construction.
• Engages with clients to address inquiries, explain Global Market Access (GMA) procedures, outline project costs, negotiate timelines, and resolve concerns.
• Provides technical guidance on GMA requirements and services.
• Establishes test programs by reviewing documentations, assessing samples, and applying GMA standards.
• Identifies non-compliance issues or scope changes and informs clients.
• Coordinates laboratory activities, including test plans, instructions, and scheduling.
• Manages administrative tasks related to project execution.
• Services as the designated Project Handler and Reviewer as needed.
• Communicates as project updates and results to clients via regular contact and detailed reporting.
• Integrates continuous improvement practices into all responsibilities.
• Represents the organization in industry forums, committees seminars, and trade shows.
• Directs and reviews work of assigned team members, offering training and insights on GLA programs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or Physics with 6 - 8 years of relevant work experiences.
• Strong knowledge of technical vocabulary and conformity standards in the field.
• Skilled in applying project handling concepts, including for complex or novel products.
• Prior EMC/Wireless technical expertise is an advantage.
