Overview

The Plan and Resource Enablement Team is responsible for scaling and optimizing Learning & Development's (L&D) infrastructure through planning and tracking L&D's commitments to the business, fueling team performance, and enabling with critical support needs.

This role is responsible for enabling L&D's most strategic teams through effective consultation on teaming tactics, tools, and infrastructure to fuel health and performance across and within L&D. This role is expected to have understanding and experience with a broad spectrum of teaming/management strategies and approaches (Scrum, Kanban, Project Management, Lean, Innovation, etc.) to enable and manage a healthy L&D portfolio and governance model.

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams through the application and implementation teaming/work flow methodologies to enable effective and efficient management of L&D work
  • Create and maintain tools and processes that effectively manage our annual and quarterly commitments to the business.
  • Facilitate the creation of a holistic annual plan and roadmap; partner with L&D leaders and leadership teams to capture scope and visualize progress of committed work, pipeline work and internal initiatives
  • Escalate work through the appropriate channels and teams to ensure L&D alignment and prioritization.
  • Communicate the need for and drive the adoption of standardized operational procedures; reports progress to practice leadership
  • Collaborate with Change Management to craft clear, compelling and timely communications content, messaging and resources on our ways of working at the department level and key leadership/stakeholders to enable clarity and support organizational health at all levels
  • Recommend and support processes, systems and tools for L&D operating model efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Create materials/presentations to support clarity and alignment
  • Utilize partnerships and subscriptions to lead L&D research that directly enables change strategy, culture, operating model and planning support (ex: collect feedback/themes and translate to insights, meet with industry partners to pull together research that enable mid/long-term planning and operations); support leadership by developing compelling narratives or points of view documents
  • Identify and develop metrics for monitoring strategy and organizational effectiveness; utilizes reporting and metrics to track progress
  • Communicate project status, including roadblocks, milestones, successes with all project stakeholders
  • Facilitate discussion, decision making, conflict resolution, and learning within the team and across the and within L&D
  • Drives special projects as requested by Operations and leadership
  • Discern the most relevant factors that drive effectiveness and value to the team or organization; remove barriers at the individual team level and across the Audience team empowering teams to deliver their commitments on time and within budget
  • Challenge thinking and assumptions through effective consulting and influence, pushing for alternative solutions to problems leading to customer focused outcomes
  • Build mutual support and strong relationships to continuously adapt and improve L&D products and services
  • Facilitate the continuous learning and foster a growth mindset of teaming best practices for teams and leadership in partnership with Team Effectiveness Peers and the P&P Organizational Planning team
  • Assist with the selection of outside partners and professionals to effectively deliver outcomes and results

Minimum Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge and experience building healthy teams through various teaming approaches
  • Understanding or experience with Agile methodologies
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to influence decisions and drive change
  • Proficient in change management practices that promote adoption of new ways of working
  • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent personal and relational intelligence
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills
