Job Description

CRB is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and dynamic team-oriented individual that has a desire to help CRB continue to develop its local expertise within the life science marketplace, fulfilling the role of Senior Project Manager on varying-sized projects and within the Basel office mainly focused on the Swiss market. In addition to the qualifications, a successful candidate shall possess the skills required to effectively lead project tasks and drive the completion of deliverables with an overall project team. The Candidate should be a collaborative team player and have a strong drive to deliver to customers. Project sizes will vary and will consist primarily of biotechnology, aseptic filling, API and other pharmaceutical process projects including both existing renovations / retrofits and new construction. The successful candidate will be expected to represent CRB in a professional manner.

• Developing project execution plans appropriate for the size and type of project 
• Defining the team needs and approach for General Planning or EPCM / EPC opportunities 
• Managing client expectations, aligning team to overall project goals, and motivating engineering design team
• Leading, coordinating, managing, delegating, and supporting project team and client as required for project success
• Mentoring and training of Project Management team members

Qualifications

• Diplom-Ingenieur in Process, Mechanical, Electrical or comparable Engineering (Hochschulabschluss Bachelor Master Fachhochschule )
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience, including a minimum 5 years of experience with technical project management/ project leader in the field of Pharma or Biotech design/ engineering/ construction
• Excellent project leadership, team leadership, organizational and international communication skills
• Project realization experience in Switzerland including knowledge in SIA, General Planning and EPCM
• Experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Oracle P6, ACC, MS Excel, CRM systems, etc.)
• Language: Fluent in German and English, French is a plus
• Valid Work Permit for Switzerland, or able to obtain a permit
